- 1. Brown beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet.
- 2. Stir in sauce and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3. Mix cheeses and egg in a bowl.
- 4. Layer sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture in the slow cooker.
- 5. Repeat layers, ending with sauce.
- 6. Cook on LOW for 4.5 to 5 hours.
- 7. Add remaining cheese, melt for 15 minutes.
- 8. Let rest before slicing and serving.

Use regular noodles, not no-boil. Add more water if your sauce is thick. Can be made vegetarian with roasted vegetables.
